Our Vision   Our vision is to see our community saved, transformed and empowered by the Holy Spirit; to impact the wider Body of Christ and community with life, purpose and belonging in Jesus.

Our Mission   Hope City Church’s commitment is the advancement of the Kingdom of God on earth through: Proclaiming God's truth for the salvation, transformation and empowerment of our community through the Holy Spirit. Training and equipping our community to live in hope, purpose and belonging. Providing a place where we can worship and experience the love of God.

What We Believe    We believe: The Bible is the complete, infallible and authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:21). In the one, true God, our Creator, Eternal and existing in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (II Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 4:6). In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father (John 1:1-3).  In the personal return of Jesus Christ in power and glory (John 14:1-3).  All people have sinned and therefore are spiritually lost and separated from God (John 3:17).  Forgiveness of sin is received only through faith in Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith in the Blood of Jesus is essential for salvation (Romans 3:24-25, I Peter 1:18-19).  The reality and personality of Satan, and the eternal judgment of Satan and all his evil spirits (Matthew 25:41).  In Water Baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Mark 16:16).  In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the accompanying evidence of speaking in tongues. His infilling power that enables holy and righteous Christian living (Acts 1:1-8).  In the Person, Work and Gifts of the Holy Spirit active in the Church today (I Corinthians 6:19).  In the corporate celebration of Communion (Matthew 26:26-28).  In the resurrection of the dead. For the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting punishment with Satan and his evil spirits (John 3:36).  The Body Of Jesus Christ, comprising of all Born Again believers, is expressed through local Churches under the leadership of gifted men and women of God (Matthew 16:18).

Our Associations   Hope City Church belongs to the the Australian Christian Churches (ACC), formerly The Assemblies of God in Australia until 2007. ACC is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing but commits itself to work together with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world. In ACC churches you'll find vibrant, contemporary Christians who love the Lord Jesus Christ and express that love in lively praise and worship and in caring relationships.
